RENOVATIONS DESIGNED AROUND THE WAY YOU WANT TO LIVE

Design-led whole-home renovations, outdoor spaces and restorations across the Blue Mountains, Hills District and selected Sydney suburbs.

Why Choose Mountains Carpentry?

PEOPLE FIRST. CRAFTSMANSHIP ALWAYS.

At Mountains Carpentry, we transform homes across the Blue Mountains, Hills District, and Sydney into spaces that feel like they were always meant to be there — refined, functional, and built to last.

Every project is guided by thoughtful design and exceptional craftsmanship, in close collaboration with homeowners, architects, and designers who trust us to bring their vision to life.

The result: spaces that don’t just look beautiful — they feel right.

Built on Experience, Backed by License

Mountains Carpentry is a fully licensed carpentry and renovation team (Licence: 453121C), serving homeowners across the Blue Mountains, Hills District and Sydney.

From custom decking and timber framing to full kitchen and bathroom renovations, our team brings hands-on trade experience to every stage of the build, not just design ideas, but the structural know-how to execute them properly.

We work directly with homeowners, architects, and designers, and we manage our own core team rather than relying on rotating subcontractors so the people who quote your job are the same people who build it with us.

EVERYTHING YOUR HOME NEEDS, ONE TRUSTED TEAM

Bathroom & Laundry

Spaces you use every day, designed to work as hard as you do.
From small refreshes to full strip-outs, we design bathrooms and laundries around how your household actually lives — not just how they look in a photo.

Kitchens

The heart of the home, built around how your family gathers.
We design kitchens for real cooking, real entertaining, and real mornings — combining smart storage, durable finishes, and a layout that works for years, not just for the listing photos.

New Builds

Start from the ground up, with no shortcuts.
We plan and construct new builds with the same care we’d want for our own home — solid foundations, honest timelines, and a team that’s there from the first peg in the ground to the final handover.

Timber Framing

The structure no one sees, but everyone relies on.
Precise, code-compliant timber framing for homes, extensions, and outdoor structures — built to the engineering specs that keep everything above it standing strong.

Renovations

From outdated to exactly what you imagined.
Whether it’s one room or a full home, we manage every renovation end-to-end — same trusted team, clear timeline, no surprises along the way.

Decking

Built for the way you’ll actually use it long lunches, late nights, lazy mornings.
Custom hardwood and composite decks engineered for Australian conditions, designed to extend your living space outdoors and add lasting value to your property.

Crafting Quality, from vision to reality

Custom carpentry, decking and renovations built with precision and lasting craftsmanship.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Daniel’s communication before, throughout and post completing our job was absolutely sensational. We had the chance to install underfloor insulation to one of his mountains full renovation cottages. We crawl under houses most days and often where it’s out of people’s sight comes poor workmanship. We had the pleasure to see every centimetre of under this house and exceptional quality work they conducted. Excellent work conducted by all trades producing a fantastic result of a beautiful mountains cottage! Highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent workmanship and client management. Our job started as a simple small renovation, but due to the discovery of termite damage the scope kept needing to be expanded. It eventually involved the whole house!!!!! Daniel kept us informed at all times and helped us work through the process. He made excellent recommendations to keep the costs down, but also on what would work well in terms of layout and colours etc. His team was very efficient with no delays or down time. The quality of the work was very high. It was a very challenging job for us and for his team, but we all got through it with excellent collaboration across his whole professional team. Highly recommend Mountains Carpentry.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After moving to the Blue Mountains recently and discovering a plethora of problems with our new house, both cosmetic and structural, we were incredibly lucky to discover Daniel, who listened attentively to all and everything we wanted and worked with us to design a complete and creative package of refurbishments that has transformed a rather ordinary house into one that passers-by stop to admire! Daniel and his team of quality tradies managed every aspect of the work, and Daniel kept us up to date with regular progress videos and phone calls which was great. The work spanned almost all the trades, including removal of asbestos, reconfiguring internal walls and doorways, a complete rebuild of bathrooms and kitchen and painting inside and out. Even the new fence is a thing of beauty, with neighbours wanting to know the name of our builder! We are very happy with results and would recommend Daniel and his team to anyone who wants a one-stop-shop to help you design a complete package and deliver a high quality result.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The people at Mountains Carpentry did a fantastic job of turning our 1 bathroom and laundry into 2 bathrooms and laundry. The staff were kind, friendly and professional. Their craftsmanship and pride in their work was clear. As in most renovations, there were some hiccups along the way, however, these were resolved and the end results were really beautiful.
